You made a broad brush statement about the connotations of "lady". I said that that was not so, and I already explained that all I meant by "social circles" was that it might be true among some people, but not everywhere. Why are you so bothered by this?...On the other, a simple "oops, sorry I misremembered" would have sufficed...

As I understand it, Neocon's wife is a business woman, and my wife is a business woman who is quite successful in her field but my wife, and I would bet Neo's wife, do not share any one of your attitudes or viewpoints. In other parts of the country, other than the unusual make up of Silicon Valley, your type of business woman is decidedly in the minority. I think that when Neo mentioned "social circles", he was referring to the type of people you associate with. Again, in the rest of the country, those types of people are, by far, in the minority. Don't you realize how isolated from the "real" world you are?^ ^ ^TD
