Sounds like MRVC's triplexer to me. MRVC parts connect to Marconi's parts.

<<Wave division multiplexing (WDM) technology is used to multiplex the 1310 nm POTS traffic with the 1550 nm Broadband RF signals at the SWX (within the HDT), thus enabling a single-fiber solution to the ONU for converged voice, video and data services.

A WDM within the optical interface unit (OIU) at the ONU separates the 1310 nm and 1550 nm optical signals. >>

From the May, 1997 Penn Merchant report:

"MRVC has developed an optical triplexer (aimed at telephone companies) that can accomodate voice, data and cable TV. This new technology is based on wave division multiplexing (WDM) that uses two different colors (wavelengths) of light and the duplexer technology mentioned earlier to triple bandwidth. MRVC is currently working with RBOCs and has just begun to ship sample quantities of its triplexers. These triplexers cost $200-$500 per unit, with each unit able to handle four to eight homes. Volume shipments are expected by early 1998."
