This agreement provides for the joint development of a new line of reduced-cost LMDS transceivers and the manufacture by California Amplifier of both existing LMDS transceivers and the new line of LMDS transceivers for Telaxis. Telaxis' transceiver products operate in the 24 GHz to 44 GHz frequency range, while California Amplifier makes similar products which operate in the 2 GHz to 12 GHz range. Both companies' products work in conjunction with indoor electronics using similar interfaces.
