Any ideas on AFFX chip supply?

Hi--
A client has asked me to find out whether AFFX is--or will be--experiencing any supply problems with their chips (shortages or gluts). I know they opened a new mfg. facility, but has anyone heard of any problems along these lines? Any ideas about where/how I might investigate, should they happen to exist? (The company, of course, won't discuss it.) Many thanks.
