>>> Isn't makeup a highly brand sensitive item for women?
brand sensitive ... where as once a woman finds a product ... she usually sticks with it ... til it is discontinued and must change

>>>I hope this doesn't sound chauvinistic, but aren't women notorious for buying certain brands that are in style.

not the "in style" cept maybe perfume ... and now you are thinking more upper class ..

products ... the Avon product line is not geared towards the upper class .... but more towards the 'normal' middle class of working individuals, the waitressess the receptionists ... the majority of the population, who cannot afford to spend $24 on a lipstick ... that I would think is their target market.

it is just my opinion ... based on past divers of good quality ... that analysts give downgrades and drive the prices down, simply to pick it up on the cheap, then once they have filled their pockets with that cheap stock, they come out and say ... 'oh, it's a good deal here'. They are so pissy.

also, There is a big difference between buying divers of poor quality, no name brands of stock and the 'name brands'

The name brands have a much better chance of recouperation than junk

another one I have been following and played occasionally is CPU
compUSA
the Q report is out of the way (today or yesterday I believe)
the losses were not as bad as expected. It is very low ... not to say that it will go any lower, but at this point is worth a chance.
I have been watching today for entry, but would prefer to buy near the close if it picks up any strenght and looks to close in the green.
Chart is weak due to past revenue worry's ... and probably a sector weakness also
sell target at about 7.00 (minimum) currently 5 15/16 x 6
