Fed chief warns against protectionism - from usatoday.com:

Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan voiced concern Thursday about
growing protectionist pressure in the USA and warned that it could end up
slowing economic growth. In a speech to an economic conference in
Minneapolis, Greenspan acknowledged that rising imports pose problems for
some workers. But he argued that the answer was not to put up barriers to
trade, but rather to help displaced workers learn new skills and get new jobs.
