A few things about the premature demise of Plummer. The biggest problem was his thumb injury which allowed him to throw a total of 10 passes in the pre-season. The word around here is that if Dave Brown had been adequate as a replacement, they wouldn't have started Jake against Philly due to the injury. Add to that the HORRIBLE offensive line and problems at receivers (all three starters are or have been injured already this year). Give him time...a LOOOOOONG time, but time all the same :)

I think that after QB the most important positions are in the line, and on defense it starts with the tackles. I'll bet there are a lot of teams who wouldn't mind having the Seahawks ' or Raiders' DTs. If you solidify the tackle position on d you can build the rest of the d around it. What do you think of that tackle from Buffalo? They run a 3-4 right with that one huge NT?
