Tenchusatsu, re:<Or in Athlon systems>

This is true, but ATHLON motherboards with VIA chipset are not expected before the end of November anyway. I wonder what IBM and MicronPC would do - will they ship their Pentium XXB systems with non-working AGP4X? My guess is that, they may just drop AGP4X from their system spec.

regards,
Goutama

Or in Athlon systems. They said there are errors in the "AGP-4x module." It would make sense to assume this module would also be reused (and thus need to be redesigned) in VIA's upcoming Athlon chipset.

When is the Intel 840 supposed to arrive? Perhaps it will be the first working AGP 4X chipset.
