Ed- Any investor who bought Dell in February based on the one Kemble post that you pulled/posted.....deserves to loose their money....they would have learned a valuable lesson.......One that they will have to learn over and over again (for the rest of their lives), until they wake up (and get serious about making a good return)......do not buy a stock because someone says so, do not buy a stock based on a tip....buy a stock because you understand what they do, you have thoroughly researched the company (and industry), including reading and understanding the financials,etc....I could go on...but if an investor is not willing to do this.....hire someone who will (and who will watch your money)...or expect to loose your money.... The thread functions not only as a source of information and discussion, but also has a social element...especially given many of us know each other personally, and have spent time together...It doesn't take a lot sense to realize this...and I'm sure you do..... It is really great that you are concerned for the unitiated investor, but try to give people (who read/have read this thread) a little more credit....very few are going to buy (anything) based on one post, and take every post here literally ("BUY DELL")..........good or bad...........you really sound like you have an axe to grind....as if YOU actually bought at the top (based on an encouraging post) without doing the research...assuming you did not, it hard to understand your constant rhetoric about the quality of the thread....being a trader, you should be happy with the recent volatility, and your opportunity to make $$$..at the least, I would think you have better things to do with your time (like making money on other trades) than to ask Michael Dell to resign (now THAT's a REAL bright idea).... BTW- Kemble has quite often posted meaty, interesting, and factual posts....Had I made as much money off of Dell (as him), I would, too, more often post an enthusiastic jibe or two...
