If you would read this thread before posting you could have learned the answer to your question. It is obvious that you resent Tim and are trying to make him look bad. A very very cheap shot.

I read this thread all the time, and don't remember asking any question. I know exactly where Tim is, and why he is it not posting in his usual prolific fashion. I don't resent Tim, but maybe I do resent the fact that he takes advantage of naive or inexperienced investors to satisfy his own ego. I don't have to make him look bad, he does too well by himself. Lack of diversification, buying stocks at prices that make one dependant on a takeover for any price appreciation. Recommendation of securities (MER for example) as long term core holdings, and then trading out of them in a heartbeat. The list goes on and on. And have you looked at Tim's trading record (at least what he has posted on this thread) in CS. Hardly practicing what he preaches. I always thought it was buy low, sell high. I must have it backwards.

That HandsOn pointed out that Tim is working with limited funds reminds me of an E-Trade TV ad. The one that ends with "If your broker's so good, why is he still working?"
