Bought CISI on news; MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 30, 1999--CIS.com Inc. (OTC BB:CISI) announced today that it will open ECIS Mall (http://www.ecismall.com) to the public today. Project Coordinator Carlton A. Glassford stated "We will open the mall to the public today although, there is additional work to be done to bring the finishing touches online. There will always be work and upgrades performed to offer our customers the best products available on an ongoing basis in any easy-to-shop secure online environment." During the processes of cataloging and indexing over 100,000 available products, CIS.com, Inc. and Glassford agreed to create a separate mall specifically designed to offer higher end products for the MIS, Network, and Internet industries. The new mall will include thousands of brand name products related to LAN (Local Area Networks), WAN (Wide Are Networks), Internet, Intranet, and Extranet services. "Separating the specialty products from the main ECIS Mall is in direct line with our online shopping philosophy. We are determined to make our malls the most convenient and productive places to shop on the net," stated Glassford. Though ECIS Mall will open today, total completion of the mall with added graphics and additional visual enhancements to make the mall that much more inviting to shop at will be introduced to the basic mall on an ongoing basis over the next 4 - 6 weeks.
