Well, I have no intention of supporting the Congress party. You can go criticizing the Congress all you want and I will have little or no disagreement with you. The Congress party was the evil of the past but it is the BJP that is filling the vacuum created by the recession of the Congress to the background.

If your beef is againt *people* here in the US who think highly of BJP, fight them! Why are you denigrating BJP exclusively?

What do you mean by "fight them"? I am exposing the hypocrisy and the bankruptcy of their darling party. IOW, I am attacking their viewpoint, not attacking them.

The world over people seem to think that BJP(thanks to some misguided elements of RSS/VHP/BajrangDal) is in the wrong.

What people are you talking about? Most of the "educated" elite Indians think (and even say) that the BJP is not in the wrong. If they are cornered with facts that they cannot refute and there is no way out, then of course, they mumble something to the effect that yes, that is wrong, but there is still no doubt where their sympathies lie. And you are a good example of that.

Well, as I said, either you fight perceptions, or you fight facts. No point mixing them up.

I am fighting their perceptions. With facts. Who's mixing up what here?
