Slider...I like your call on PXD. Chart shows 10 as a new support. Held today on big volume. I like that. I picked up some December calls near the close. Look for premium to rise as PXD moves back to 13. Thanks in advance for the triple. -g- Just wish I'd been up this a.m. when it was sub 10. The price one pays to live in Hawaii....grumble, grumble...

I have still been unable to locate any news on XTO but they finished the day at 13 1/2, up 1 7/16 or 12%, on 160% of average daily volume. I-Watch had strong institutional interest. Two trades at the close and day's high, 33,400 and 30,900. Will be interesting to watch tomorrow, 14 is near term resistance with 15 major longer term resistance.

Slider---I must admit I am now considering going long on EEX next week sub 3---but one thing troubles me (other than the big pfd ranking ahead of common)--and that is its declining gas production volume, which Bear Stearns attributes to 'greater than estimated natural field declines in the GOM'--translation to me at least--their reserves are running down and the produceabilty of existing resevoirs is dropping, making their reserve life questionable unless they hit something big on exploration. It is like a gun to their heads.--and then there is that $156MM of Preferreds sitting there (in liquidation value)--comments?------re DJ--notice how we peaked out today right at where we peaked out a few days ago (10,402) which is marginally below the old 10409 support we broke on going down...hmmm
