I really have no idea exactly why he now has a pro-life view, if true. Perhaps he was simply intelligent enough to look at his wife's ultrasounds when she was pregnant, followed the development of their child in utero, and decided there was literally no way to make a decision as to when it was right to terminate that life, thus deciding if one is to err, it is best to err on the side of life.
