I don't know the current status of Intel's "breach of contract" law suit against VIA. Both parties and press have been awfully quiet about it. In the past there were reports of OEMs receiving letters from Intel, warning them against the use of VIA's Apollo chipset. The fact that IBM and MicronPC have decided to use VIA's chipset, indicates to me that the lawsuit might have been dropped without any announcement.
