am I to take it that your cat does not to get a bath?

Or, do you just have a playful kitty?

Nokomis, I solved the cat bath problem by taking mine to a groomer. 30 bucks, they get scratched not me! But I'm sitting here laughing out loud at your post, having just 20 minutes ago attempted to remove a "clump" - a matt of hair and WHATEVER on my longhaired cat who loves to run through the woods. Although I only was able to remove half of it before she escaped my grasp, I accomplished what I could by rolling down my long sleeves, putting on gardening gloves and wrapping a towel over her head and body, leaving only the affected rear portion exposed. Let's just say she's mad as hell at me now, and is even taking it out on the dog, swiping her in the nose as she walked by. And we're not finished yet : )

Nokomis: Great, great cat story. Kinda reminds me of my first date with my sidekick Suzy back in '78 after I'd pitched what I felt was some pretty good woo and suavely "made my move." Imagine my surprise when she did a pretty good imitation of your cat-in-the-bath. (Lee)

OT
As a cat owner I found that very funny and frighteningly accurate.
Thanks for the laugh
