Well that "material change in appearance" clause in her contract is another way of saying "we can fire you if you get pregnant" isn't it? That clause is standard fare in hollywood right? How about changing it to "material change in appearance with the exception of pregnancy"?

Its the studio heads and influential people like Mr. Beatty who are responsible for these guidelines... Lets see if Beatty is willing to take a stand to modify standard contracts in hollywood to support his position.

I have felt, all along, that many pro-life people are only willing to take the pro-life stance as long as it means no meaningful disruption to them. I am not saying that is the case with you or with people here. But it certainly was true for Bob Barr, and probably almost every man that switches from pro-choice to pro-life late in life. So here we have a unique situation... Beatty is retired from womanizing now that hes 60. But, he has his companies in Hollywood. Is he willing to forgo $$ and schedule slippages in defense of "life"? I mean, you would think one of these pro-life guys in Hollywood would take a stand wouldn't you? Unless of course they are only pro-life as long as it doesn't effect their budget...
