Tench, RE: I thought Intel sold its share of CNET, which is why you don't see the disclaimer "Intel is an investor in CNET" anymore. It's not like CNET forgot, either, since they were pretty religious about the disclosure.

Intel filed a 13D in July of 98, stating that its interest in CNET had dropped below 5% (4.1%, specifically). This past December, Intel filed to sell most of the remainder of its stock in CNET. Intel isn't required to tell anybody if they actually sold those shares or not, although you could argue from an ethical standpoint that Intel does have that obligation.
