Well, I got to ask a couple of Wind River guys about their position on Embedded Linux, and I can report that their position is that they don't have a position on Embedded Linux.

James,

This looks like a probable WIND design win.
Can anyone confirm that LBRT Navigator and LBRT Connect are WIND-powered ?

If the Mars orbitor had used WIND to navigate, maybe it would be in orbit now where it belongs. Being relatively naive about these matters, I must concede I don't know if any RTOS works on a time frame spanning many years. That's real time OK.....lots of it.
