maru u: On August 31, 1998 the market set a benchmark low for the then correction. The following day on Sept 1, the market reversed to the upside on heavy volume (12:9 on the previous day). Any thoughts as to whether or not today's upside reversal on heavy volume indicates that yesterday's low represents a benchmark low for the current correction ? If so, do you think we'll now get a failed rally after which we'll get a test of the new benchmark on low volume like we had with last fall's correction ?

Hope that updated Mr BSL chart of the US Dollar is not a harbinger of things to come in the broad market. If it does, the current rally could end up being a dead cat bounce. Then again, it might be nice to get a bear market behind us so we can look forward to the mother of all buy opportunities.

I will likely not be posting next week. Just wanted to make sure no one reports me missing and calls 911. I wouldn't want my extended family of Ultra's to be disturbed by the police
