KEVIN PRIGEL SPEAKS www.streetadvisor.com
AT&T issued a press release at 6:21 this evening stating that "it was still exploring possible deals tied to its 58 percent stake in high-speed Internet access company ExciteAtHome."

This statement comes 24 hours after an AT&T executive wholly denied the existence of any deal with AOL, or the split of Excite@Home.

Our source continues to stand by his information. When you toss on the LA Times report today, and the Excite executive reassignment on Tuesday, you have to think something is in the works.
