athm aquired xcit just prior to T buying TCI cable - the former majority owner of ATHM. A little misleading. When ATHM proposed the merger with XCIT the TCI purchase was complete in all but the final formalities. Armstrong was consulted along the way and gave his approval to the merger. Funny thing is that the big force behind pushing a break up between Excite and @home is a former TCI employee. What was Hindery saying at the time of the merger? Anyone know? Eric
