Paul: I fail to see what the effect the nuclear incident in Japan has on the production of chips 140 miles away not to mention continents away other than the price of memory should go up. I am sure that the fab capacity currently in place will do just fine. As I remember when MU bought the plants from TI they were looked upon as fools for buying overcapacity in a depressed market. Now they are saying their isn't enough when Taiwan causes a temporary 15% shortfall which because of same will actually cause a lessening of demand for the remaining existing capacity. It sounds all very sophisticated but I think greed and competence will overcome that hurdle.

Maybe the problem in Mexico will cause a shortfall in demand for servers. This whole world is presently in the Henny Penny mode. I guess that is why I was able to raise 9 kids without seat belts whereas it is impossible to put 4 kids in a full size car with their parents today. We are truly in the thrall of media histrionics. Orson Welles would have had a field day today. Let us hope their will be like panic to the upside when the earnings come through. JFD

Paul...24 5/16 points now to $50, my projected target for INTC (short term)... I do expect so see INTC rebound nicely in the next few years...
so you've never sold a share on INTC, eh...or so the other threadsters say...is that true???

maybe you're kinda like the Warren Buffet on INTC..except he has been very busy divesting himself of KO, G, MCD etc since last year....
