The question really isn't what will Dell be paying for the RAM, it is what are they paying relative to everyone else.

Like I mentioned before, they can play with their configurations if they want to hold a price point or they can raise their prices if everyone else is as well.

Dell typically has a cost advantage so they have more flexibility. They may lose a little momentum in the home market as the retail channel now has inventory with lower cost RAM in it, but Dell is less likely to be supply constrained if the Taiwanese motherboard makers can't get into full gear.
