Hope I'm not too early...
Increased my average buy-in price today for both LSI and IDTI.
Guess I'm still thinking the best is ahead somewhere.
And I'm still waiting for IDT to reschedule their annual meeting...

Country Boy,

I wish I could say I was smart, but I was basically scared. I saw things in the charts that were very unsettling and I remembered all too well how I lost my shirt last year. So, I just started to sell my highest ones and then I got downright spooked and sold just about everything I had. Since then I have just been watching and trying to figure out what is going on here, while I take on a few smaller positions when I think I have it right.

The thing about the semis today I have noticed also in other areas ......all of a sudden a perfectly good chart just falls off the cliff....it's too weird....the chart seems fine and then bammo!

The only optimistic scenario I have for now is the one I just expressed to bp. I can't think of a better one at the moment. My opinion of this market has been evolving as each day progresses much like anyone else's......and there has been a lot to consider!

Regards, and good luck!

E

FWIW, some observations of the charts of SOX Nasdaq and LSI:

SOX breakdown and no indication that we will reverse up:

Nasdaq (chart#1) at the apex and can go either way:
siliconinvestor.com

Nasdaq (chart#2) looking ahead, this formation is often more positive but in most cases it would have to break up from here (and so I'm guessing that this means chart #1 would also have to break out northward and my WAG is that it won't):

LSI trying to hold support but losing relative strength:
siliconinvestor.com

LSI holding the 100day moving average, but showing some negative volume.

LSI: Finally, MACD has gone negative, and not for many months (if not since January, I think....I will have to check a different chart).
