By all means Stay. A balanced, yet objective opinion is needed. Just chill out a bit.. I'm New to SI as of Jan. Have lurked a long time, post only on occasion. This thread if a fav of mine. Having said that. I have lost out on 4 splits recently because I got "chicken" do to the massive price swings. I originally post in Jan. that I'm holding for a min. of 2 yrs. The past 8 mos. has been a ride, but I guess I'm a bull on Dell and the Market in general. If you really want heart ache try holding Mu for more than a few months.

Hi Ed,..

Traders are people too! <g> I think you should stay. Agree with Tim about a 'free forum' and I don't want to miss any chance to learn something new. <g> The thread sometimes mimics non-cyber space human interactions in that clicks exist but most here are open minded and courteous. <g>

Cheers,

Lee

ed -
stay is my vote. I welcome a diversity of opinion and I applaud your interest in getting more readers to become posters. Also agree we all should avoid flaming and stick to factual discussion.

Stay.

It makes for interesting reading, that's for sure. And, I don't disagree with your frustration with the stock...short term. In the long term, it seems to me that Dell is positioning itself quite well and the stock price will reflect that over the long haul.

Sit! Stay! Roll over!

I've learned more from people who disagree with me, even though I feel that those who agree with me the most possess greater intelligence and wisdom.

Inappropriate posts say more about the sender than the receiver.

Cheers, PW.

P.S. I'd rather you STAY.

I said this two earning periods ago and I'll say it now. Dell is one of the top ten companies on either exchange but the Houses and Analyst do not forgive success that they failed to participate in. Dell had such success and a certain air about it that they will not forgive us for and it will end after the first of the year. There are two stocks for those with their eyes open that hold untold promise, RNWK and QCOM.

Best of luck,

Voltaire
