I am surprised that you are convinced about Vajpayee's performance being pathetic:

India's stock market has risen 50%. In fact, after Sonia G pulled down the government, the rising stock market fell precipitously, and regained momentum after the market learnt that Vajpayee would return. The stock market is a harbinger of new wealth that the world expects Vajpayee's policies will create. The expected new wealth has been capitalized. Judge rationally before spouting your anger.

I can list other points that you may disagree as achievements (the voters will decide), but I stated an overall barometer of achievement as perceived by the smartest money managers including those in the Wall Street.
