Mason, you can get an odd lot of Softbank, just keep trying. My "Softbank Odd Lot Desperation Site" has some details: netconductor.com [just updated with some minor stuff] But due to possible ethics concerns (better safe than sorry), I'm no longer giving out the name and phone number of my personal ML broker. ML can do it because they are a market-maker for that stock. Tell them that. If they don't listen, go to another ML broker or another ML location until you find one that will conduct the transaction for you. They might blow you off if you buy only like 1 share or something.
