That my friend would be the best of all worlds, only TJ from ATHM would feel a little unhappy, since his grand idea would be gone.

To edamo, Eric and others;
So Wrong continued ...<greg..."no one wants xcit">

I want XCIT with ATHM and so do many other people including TJ so you are wrong.

Your negative opinion on xcit was probably first spewed out in a slightly different form by Ahhaha during one of his earlier shorting cycles. It seems that many of you folks believe the Ahhaha propaganda even though you are long on ATHM stock. If this smelly s brown shoe seems to fit, Ahhaha correctly calls you a very dumb patzer. This constant negative propaganda you help propagate, just helps to hold down the stock. I shouldn't worry about stock price because I'm convinced the future is bright for ATHM. On the other hand, negative publicity can slow and even stunt the growth of a company. The stock can be used as currency to help grow the company and it helps if it can be pumped up in price.

Meanwhile IMO, Ahhaha covered his short a few days ago so is silent for the moment.

Wishing for the sellout of any part of ATHM to the AOL enemy <BG> is negative thinking. Hint: positive thought is that ATHM can and will make it on it's own without that loosers' (AOL) help.

The rumors about AOL, ATHM, and AT & T are negative. The rumors may even be spread by AOL and its allies. The purpose of the rumors is to undermine ATHM and T. This seems to be working and it has also hurt AOL stock. There have been rumors on top of rumors.

So IMO, shut up about the rumor if the rumor turns out to be true what did you lose? - nothing except that you wanted to talk about something negative. I understand that you may try to seed doubts if you are shorting the stock, but if you are a long, I can not see what good it does to claim that part of the company is of little or no value. So what if you are right does this make your ego feel good to talk about it?

AOL provides content, XCIT provides content you can argue if you like newbie service better than XCIT. XCIT does have some value you just may not like what you see others do so consider that. When joined with ATHM, XCIT may overtake Yahoo and AOL as #1 portal (in 7-10 years). Case is smart enough to know that ad money is the future not being just a dumb pipe or just sub money. If ad money is high enough subs will be free even for broadband, TJ has seen this that is why he said it may be free one day. So you need content (XCIT) or you may as well surrender to AOL, war being over, case closed, Case wins.

Regards,

Wingman
