qdog, << Cisco equipment (T) and Lu (WCOM)...The huge difference was the proactive response of the two companies to paying customers >> The proactive response of CSCO was also very noticeable and laudable in the T case. Chambers publicly apologized same day to the affected people of the northeast in the event that it might be determined that Cisco gear contributed at about the same time chartered jets of Cisco techs and replacement gear left the ground.
