This sounds good, Tom. However, my biggest concern with IMG right now is how well its technology stacks up against AMSC.
Obviously, the market is placing no value on the magnet business and I can't really blame them. The fact that IMG is making money means nothing to the market. The market has its eyes on the big prize of electric utilities buying thousands and thousands of miles of HTS wire and cable, HTS transformers, fault current limiters etc. MRI magnets are chicken feed compared to this market. The market at least perceives that AMSC is ahead in this race (i.e. the much higher capitalization even though AMSC has never turned in a profitable quarter). I hope this is just a matter of IMG not getting the word out. We shall see.
