Just a WAG, but if Coppermine/Camino/Rambus800 is near parity with Athlon, then PC100 slowed by the MTH must be a real dog - and Intel can't afford to have Coppermine get the same rep as the non-cache celeron. So this approach may not appear.

Few people seem aware that they even exist. If you recall, this was supposed to be Intel's backup plan if Rambus didn't work out.>
