Did you start Chechnya thread? Maybe a thread dedicated to Chechnya and/or Caucasus would be a right idea! By the way, Russians have decalred the govenrment of President Mashhadov illegal, have formed a puppet government in Moscow to their liking. Now, they have to invade Chechnya to find a country for this puppets! This gives full legality to the invasion! I find very little on CNN or Sky News on this issue. There is almost a back-out on the West to help Russians out. I beleive US and EC will stay out of this, mainly to return Russia's favor for a free hand with Serbia! However, I wouldn't be suprised if policy makers in Washington are not real pleased with Russians troubles in Chechnya! This will keep Russians busy for years to come! Regards,
