They are trying to become the starting point for B2C eCommerce.

Nothing wrong with this ambition. I think zShop is a good idea. But I also think that people are irresponsible if they actually never open their minds and think a little bit about the implications of this New Metric of Bezos which I satirized in #79255. People might give AMZN the benefit of the doubt in regards to the new metric if the company was executing its business plan. But they are not. Same store growth was declining at its last measurement. Customer growth is less than expected. And now the New Metric.

Give me a break.

Glenn, this is ezshop. When I get on the net, I
need bookmarks for:

o Kroger,Albertson,TomThomb(food),
o Walgreen(drug sometimes),
o Neighborhood Cinemas(movie),
o local attractions
o neighborhood stores.

Ok, gives me some buttons. I'm lazy.

I'm not going out of space to do above things.

Only after my essentials are taken care of 'LOCALLY'. I
watch the con-men on the net. Not buying anything from one
or two or three source from out of nowhere.

Most essentials are taken care of locally, until the
Flintstone age come and Bezo's says follow me and
I'm taking you there, give me your money.

Technology makes these things so cheap. There is no need
for any mother of all virtual lies. A high school grad.
with a PC can run a neighborhood network. This is such
a cheap business environment, WS makes you believe it has
to be ... these guys are ....
