My former supervisor told me he was proud that Americans work more hours than the Japanese now. 50, 60, 70 hour weeks, what the hey? I wonder how many hours he will have to work now since the CEO told everyone that expenses were out of control? Even in these prosperous times, Americans are stretched to the limit already.
