I think all threads on SI s/give the pros & cons of any investment. It is always worthwhile to hear both sides of an argument thereby enabling the interested parties in making an educated decision based on the facts/opinions given.
The one drawback to that type of forum is that egos become involved and the discussion tends to deteriorate to a school yard brawl.
People who read these threads s/always keep a few things in mind:
1) You are dealing with complete strangers.
2) No one is always right.
3) Always base your investment decisions on your own research.
4) If you can't see why numbers 1 thru 3 are important then you shouldn't be investing in the stock market and w/ probably save yourself a lot of anguish and money by investing in a good mutual fund.

<<What I disagree with about him is the fact that
he is promoting buying shares of otherwise questionable companies at
high prices, and a total lack of diversification.>>

I have never seen him do this. He always says to be comfortable with how much one invests in a company. Why do you constantly misquote and misrepresent Tim?

<<This thread is mostly for people with a "tell me what to do" attitude.>>

Excuse me, but your arrogance is showing.

<<As for Timmy, you know where I live, so your attorney should have no trouble
finding me.>>

I hope he finds you soon.
