<<Vixel (VIXL: news, msgs) priced its IPO at $18 per share, well above its
range of $14 to $16 as the maker of equipment and software for storage

The Bothel, Wash. company increased the size and price of its IPO in a
sign of growing support from investors. On Thursday, it increased its float
to 4.3 million from 3.7 million. Its price range also rose from $10 to $12.

The IPO, led by BancBoston Robertson Stevens, is set to raise $77.4
