I see good small-caps advancing considerably from now on. Keep in mind that most of the so-called trade deficit is due to the import by American Corporates from their plants abroad. Thus, by default, the trade surplus money will stay here in stocks and bonds unless there are competing profit opportunities elsewhere. There will now be a search for good companies here as well as abroad.

Thanks for the tip.

<<Why bother about the stock market at all then?>>
Good question. That's because I have learned to play against the herd and do well (not recently) So, my thinking is that, I can do better than the herd by playing contrarian. Of course, I am only speaking for myself.
