LOVED YOUR POST, BILL. Nope didn't hit THAT jackpot, but I sure hope YOU did!!! Did you get a potful of them?

HoooooooooowEVER, I did hit one of my own. Ran about 8 buckets of interesting looking ore yesterday off one of my own new mines, ystdy. Kept me busy until dark doing all that ore. DAMN, BUT I LOVE SEEING THE BOTTOM OF MY GOLDPAN TURN YELLOW! Looked pretty much like this: oregontrail.net

I've got access to Roy's old timey combo shakertable and double stacked sluice with a waterspray bar that I feed about a cup and 1/2 of ore to at a time.

Oh, sure, I get kind of wet and muddy, but all that is forgotten when I pan out the stuff caught in the carpet. Also snagged 4 nice big fat nuggets while I was catching the small stuff.

Life's Golden, yes?

PS. Got your e*mail...will answer this weekend, ok? Don't rush out and buy any zinc powder in the meantime, especially since you are set up to electrowin out the stuff already with your pregnant electrolyte soltution.

Last week I referred to the Gold Futures options on the Comex

Message 11418026

Can anyone refer me to an easily accessible site for free quotes and perhaps charts on these beauties? On Monday the 275 was up over 5000%. No, unfortunately, I do not own them.

The last time I traded them was before the online trading revolution, when gold had just broken through $400 a couple of years back. (They provided a fine $3000 tax write off.)

A parting thought: unlike stocks, in options "better a year early than a day late" just doesn't cut it. Except in LEAPS.
