Welcome back, Red ...

Looks like you may be the Lone Rangerette here at Hunks.

It does seem like CNBC must have had a management change
or change in programming philosophy in recent months.
Having a little fun seems to be mostly taboo now.

One positive move though ... Alina Cho was moved from
Squawk Box to late afternoon. Her chronic worshipful
reports on Hillary were really disgusting, IMO.

Hope you get to feeling better.

Justin

Red:

Welcome back. My guess is that good 'ole CNBC management decided that they needed more true "news" and less "commentary." Since most of the truly fun and funny stuff fit more into the "commentary" category, it had to go.

I agree that the "commentary" was nice regardless of the form. Sometimes the sarcasm made very good news points.

I'll bet that no one in CNBC management thinks much about the humor and lightheartedness on this thread or in the frat house for the same reasons that they busted it off the air. Guess that they were afraid that the guys and gals might get a little too playful from time-to-time.

If all we wanted was someone to read the telepromtper, we could all go back to CNN or other, equally boring stations. Personally, I want the commentary

CNBC =

Well, I had better stop before it starts resembling humor..

<<And maybe Joe is going thru a mental thing with the baby coming....and David is settling down due to his new infatuation>>

Does this mean that the door is open to female hormone comments, er, observations? Just wondering.... :)
