Fun,

that was part of my point that correlations are what gives TA predictive power. It is the fact that more often than not these patterns perform in a reproducible manner. Bearish wedge patterns are a manefestation of buying exhaustion.

OT - LG and Casaubon, I hate to show my ignorance <g> but I'm confused. Decisionpoint says an "ascending triangle" is a bullish formation, showing selling exhaustion: decisionpoint.com
They show a wedge with a flat top and rising bottom. Are you saying that if the top of the wedge is rising too then that becomes a bearish formation? That seems counter-intuitive to me. I hope you don't mind taking time to discuss this.
