euro = a currency

eurodollar = interest rate futures contract (or you could have the physical quote) for eurodollar market...i.e. dollars held outside us borders not subject to federal reserve requirements. also called the libor market. (london interbank offer rate = libor)...i.e. the rate that banks lend to each other at...similar to fed funds.

EDZ9 - Eurodollar Dec. 99
EUZ9 - is not Euro Dec. 99 at CME. It is the
Lg Euro futures at FINEX with little volume

I trade ECZ9s which are the Eurocurrency futures at CME.
