Well.... looks like I once again hit the culture-clash ceiling! I don't own any Monsanto stock in my portfolio --phew! It sure seems that commie, bolshie, leftie, whatever, are all four-letter words for the genuine, all-American fellow.... In Europe, we certainly do have a different angle as regards the Left/Right political divide: communists have routinely been part of several elected governments in many European countries (France, Italy, eg). But it looks like many Yankees are still traumatized by the 1980s' Reaganomics, that is the times when Prez Reagan was labelling Communism as the 'Absolute Evil'.... Not to speak of the infamous McCarthysm era! I noticed this allergy to pinko politics on the Kosovo thread.
