Well, it's a long-term holding -- now :-) As others have pointed out, VIXL still has an attractive valuation (4.3M small float and only 21.6M total outstanding shares) compared to BRCD, ZOOX, etc. I also like the technical background of the VIXL folks (see below).

I would note that the VIXL underwriters (BARS, Bear Stearns) aren't the top tier and thus their companies don't get the same initial support as the Morgan, Goldman IPOs. My biggest IPO winner this year (ISLD) opened lower than it should have because of the Bear Stearns kiss of death. djane
