Kal, looks like LIOX saw a tiny pop on media insiders and MMs early word. . .then a pop to mid 17 on the news release. . .has been drifting since on low volume. . . not seeing an increase of volume beyond the pops.

I've said it before but a huge spike in a stock such as LIOX will kill it's momentum for the short term. Notice the lack of reaction and volume?

btw, what the heck happened today? Just got home stocks getting flogged. What's the worry, interest rates I suppose? I'm holding most longs going into FOMC meeting.

Kaliico: It appears that Calico Commerce (CLIC) is slated to open on 10/5. Although Foundry Networks opened at a monster price (around 118) it rapidly shot up to mid-150's. Conversely, TIVO and Vixel (VIXL) opened high, several hundred percent above their opening price, and then dropped like a stone over the remainder of the day. If one was unfortunate enough to buy either when they were available on the secondary market, he/she is now down big-time! My question is: if you are going to play CLIC, precisely how would you approach this one. Would you buy as soon as it's available and hope it behaves as Foundry did or would you track this stock over the course of the day? Or would you leave it alone in this current market and wait until it settles out and plateaus?

Kaliico,

What do you think of MSCP? Has partnership with CBS and AOL.

Thanks,
