Lisa, Prepare for battle. The person you are dealing with is an angry, arrogant, paranoid egomaniac, who is not concerned with coming to an understanding. I think this person would fight, to the death, to win. He will have pages and pages of documents and links to back up his claims. And will resort to insults and name calling without batting an eye. Those of us who are your friends are only trying to give you helpful hints. We know that you can stand your ground very well.
