Well, as neither you nor I have actual experience, I suppose we will simply have to hypothesize. However, as I said, I knew a number of women who did it, and they seemed perfectly satisfied with the situation. These were women who didn't have pimps or drug habits, but simply made a practice of accepting propositions from men they met in bars, with the understanding that money would be paid in return for sexual intercourse, I presume in a room the man also paid for, although I understand that some went to the home of men who were not married. I also know a number of men who admit to having paid for sex, and their story jibes with the stories the women told, so I think I understand the practice well enough.
