Halloween sounds good to me right now.

Yesterday I heard someone on CNN talking about 'Baby Boomers' being big spenders now and being big spenders when they are old. At one point he pointed to Baby Boomers are being responsible for all the discount stores today.

This morning on the radio I heard a big discount department store was having a 2 day sale. A bit embarrassed that as a baby boomer, I had never been in one, I decided to 'get with it' and go there tonight.

Halloween???? It was **Christmas** stuff on display. Driving back after roaming the isles for about an hour, I almost had an accident: I passed a house with lighted, red ice cycles (SP?) all over it and a ***nativity*** scene, with spotlights, in the middle of the yard.

Yes, Halloween sounds pretty darn good tonight.

Yes, I did buy some things: a bread making machine Greek olive bread mix, a box of Swedish lace cookies, and a pair of Penn State sweat pants--now I can honestly say I have shopped at one of these places even though once was enough!
