NAFTA does not call for border elimination, or it would have been highly publicized by the opponents. Besides, we are not interested in taking on Mexico, and they are not interested in "neo- colonialism". If Quebec secedes, there has been some talk in the Western provinces of applying to join the states, but that is about all I have heard of. And why, if there is a common currency plan floated, is this the first I have heard of it?

Please cite the place in the NAFTA treaty that eliminates borders.
