gold stocks performed excellently Heinz, Thank you for your thoughtful response. As a retired physicist, I can recall rare occasions when completely unexpected results happened. There were two accepted ways to deal with this. Many simply turned away and hoped that the improbable outcome never occurred again. Others of us would squarely face the evidence in front of us and reluctantly admit that if it happened, it must be possible. During the next market crash, if those lucky few who are able to reach their brokers or online services are preoccupied with buying gold shares, I will be the first to confess that it must be possible.
